Phillip Cribb is a leading orchid specialist and former Deputy Keeper of the Herbarium and Curator of the Orchid Herbarium at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Margaret Ramsay is an expert in micropropagation and the reintroduction of endangered orchids into the wild. Grace Prendergast is a renowned expert on raising hardy orchids from seed. Informative and Useful

I am an orchid collector and have slowly accumulated them through the years.
This book informed me a lot since I am a windowsill grower, Growing Hardy Orchids gave me sound advice on repotting, fertilizer, water regimen and how to treat/prevent pests and diseases. Explained completely and succinctly by providing me the basics of orchid structure and life history. It also gives me culture information of species and also the latest developments of conservation and to reintroduce native endangered species orchids back into the wild.
The writers are from the world's top orchid experts and providing us with pictures and illustrations will be a great help to newbies and beginner orchid collectors/growers to continue and have fun in growing orchid plants.
